Can CallApp record calls?
CallApp is a mobile app that offers caller ID, spam blocking, and call recording features. Users can set the app to automatically record calls by going to the CallApp menu and tapping the Settings icon, then Recorder. To manually record calls, tap the Recording icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen while on a call.
How does CallApp block spam calls?
Like most robocall blocking apps, CallApp blocks spam calls against databases of known spammers as well as users’ individual blocklists. Although customers can remove numbers from their blocklists, CallApp does not let them create an allow list of numbers that are always passed through.
In addition to using blocklists, allow lists, and a global scammer database that includes over 1.5 billion phone numbers, Robokiller blocks spammers by branding each one with a unique
audio fingerprint. That means that even when spammers change their numbers, we’ll make sure you still don’t hear from them.
How do I add a number to my CallApp blocklist?
While CallApp customers aren’t able to create allow lists, they can maintain their own individual blocklists, which are separate from the global databases the app uses to deny spammers. If you want to add a phone number manually, go to the Block tab in the menu, tap “Add new entry”, and then fill in the number. You can also long-tap the contact or number and tap the Block button on the menu that appears.
Can CallApp block text messages?
Unfortunately for CallApp users, the app doesn’t have the capability of protecting against dangerous spam texts. Many scammers use
smishing (or SMS phishing) to trick their recipients into clicking links that download harmful malware onto the device or direct to phony webpages. Some of these scams can be convincing, and falling for just one can lead to long-term financial problems or even identity theft.

Unfortunately for CallApp fans, the service is only available for Android. Fortunately for all mobile users, however, Robokiller is available on Android and iPhone devices on all major networks, all over the globe.
